2020s AI: It is just the beginning

This is magma soap, and it does not exist in real life.

Magma Soap by Dall-e 2/Craiyon
Why would it? However, it is an idea rendered as a photo-realistic visual to give the viewer something to see. The world has been "blessed" by more expressive artificially intelligent learning machines. These models look at a set of visual data, that is, photos of the web, and produce imagery based on what they gather. It has a process to it. The results are what people are talking about. Things with precise details are what the models fail at the majority of the time. A real person that exists can be rendered, but not to the point that it can be mistaken for a photo. Artistic style is not a problem anymore. Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and Dall-e 2 have now created countless renditions of prompts that meet pleasing artistic standards.

The jump...

What is there to say? People have spoken about the dangers, the risks, and any other issue that comes to their minds. They speak, and this AI is dangerous for its potential to be used to create a false image of someone important. Slanderous! They speak of the growing capabilities of the models, and companies will no longer have to hire artistic talents. Human hands and human minds no longer compete in their own species. The machine became a challenger. Though AI has been a challenger in other areas in the past, Chess is an example. A.I. was defeating professional chess champions. People have been suspended from automatic machines for years. With new machines come new controversies. However, the thing is that humans will get used to it.
